The Offer
- ThinkBank is offering a $200 bonus when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
- Open an eligible checking account with a minimum deposit of $50 by December 30, 2024.
- Within 60 days of account opening, receive two or more direct deposits totaling $2,000 or more and make 10+ Think debit card purchases (non-ATM).
- Open an eligible checking account with a minimum deposit of $50 by December 30, 2024.
The Fine Print
- Bonus Offer/Account information: Offer available to first-time checking customers age 18+. Existing checking customers ineligible to receive bonus.
- Customers with a closed a Think checking account during the prior three months are ineligible to receive bonus.
- To receive the $200 bonus: 1) Open a new eligible checking account with a minimum opening deposit of $50 through December 30, 2024. 2) Receive a minimum of two ACH credits/direct deposits to your new account totaling $2,000 or more within 60 calendar days of account opening (qualification period). 3) Use your Think Debit Card for 10 or more non-ATM card transactions that post and settle within 60 calendar days of account opening (qualification period).
- After the 60-day qualification period passes, Think determines if you have met the offer requirements and deposits any earned bonus into your new checking account within 30 calendar days or donates it to the designated charity if requested.
- Any bonus deposited to an account is reported on a 1099-INT.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
