Costco members can save $20 on Instacart+ annual membership; regular cost is $99, and Costco members pay $79. Simply add your Costco membership info to your Instacart, and then go to your Instacart+ membership page and scroll down to redeem this offer and set up your next renewal to $79.
I just bumped into this discount on Instacart, and I see others in the comments talking about this as well.
Also, Costco members get 2 free months of Instacart+ for new Instacart+ members. This won’t help most of our readers who already have Instacart membership from various Chase cards.
I’ll admit to being surprised that they added the valuable Instacart benefits on lots of fee-free cards. Some people find Instacart a pain to deal with, yet others love it and would be using it anyway. Personally I fall somewhere in the middle: I find it periodically useful, and the new monthly credits and plus membership are somewhat valuable.
I’m not sure if I’ll pay the $79 per year for the Instacart+ membership. I’ll wait until January when my current free Instacart+ membership ends and decide then. Without the plus membership, it becomes harder to use the monthly $10/$20 credits since the fees will eat into the savings.
